Afterwinning Best Actressat the 2024Academy Awardson Sunday, thePoor Thingsstar, 35, revealed that she was able to get her gown fixed afterripping itdancing toRyan Gosling’sperformance of “I’m Just Ken”at the ceremony.

“They sewed me back in,” Stone told reporters backstage after winning. “Right when I came back, they sewed me back in, which was wonderful.”

Stone wore a mint green Louis Vuitton strapless gown with a wide peplum skirt for the awards, accessorizing her look with a 30-carat yellow diamond necklace from the Louis Vuitton High Jewelry collection.

While accepting the Best Actress award for her portrayal of Bella Baxter inPoor Thingsduring the ceremony, Stone admitted she had broken her dress following herLa La Landcostar Gosling’s lively performance of “I’m Just Ken” from the soundtrack of the 2023 filmBarbie.

“Oh boy. My dress is broken,” Stone began in her speech as she turned around to reveal a broken zipper on the back of her gown. “I think it happened during ‘I’m Just Ken.’ I’m pretty sure,” she added as the audience cheered.

Gosling, 43, certainly brought Ken-ergy to the stage on Sunday night with hisperformanceas Stone also got involved. At one point during his rendition he passed the microphone to Stone, who joined in singing along with him, along with hisBarbiecostarsMargot RobbieandAmerica Ferrera.

Stonewon her first Academy Award for Best Actress in 2017for her role as Mia Dolan inLa La Land, in which she starred opposite Gosling.
