Emma Stoneis keeping her two new Golden Globes close to home.

On Sunday, Stone, 35, wonbest film actressin a comedy or musical at the 2024Golden Globesfor her role inPoor Thingsand picked up a second award for producing the movie when it won the award forbest picturein a musical or comedy.

Speaking to PEOPLE at the Los Angeles screening ofThe Curseseason one finale on Monday (which she also stars in and produced), she revealed that her new awards would be “going back home to New York.”

“They might be on an airplane. Shaking. Scared. Unaware of where they are. All alone. Confused,” adds Stone, who attended Monday’s event with costars,Nathan FielderandBenny Safdie. “But I hope they’re all right."

InPoor Things,Stone reunited with directorYorgos Lanthimosand writerTony McNamarafor a follow-up film to theirOscar-winning filmThe Favourite.

The movie sees her play Bella Baxter, a woman given a clean slate in life via an experimental procedure from scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). Once she’s reborn, Bella gradually discovers the wonders — and dangers — of the world and her own sexual awakening.

“This is amazing, thank you. Dave, I have to start with you really quickly,” she said at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. “I love you very much. Thank you for everything!”

Stone then thanked herPoor ThingscastmatesMark Ruffalo,Ramy Youssefand Dafoe, 68, for making “every day an absolute joy” on the film’s set, and the “incredible” crew that helped bring the project to life.

Of director Lanthimos, 50, Stone said, “Yorgos, I don’t know what I could say to you that I haven’t said to you already. But I will forever be grateful that we met. Forever. Andplaying Bella was unbelievable.”

Lanthimos also returned the gratitude afterPoor Thingswon best picture when hegave a special shout-out to acting winner Stone, whom he called “the best.”

Poor Thingsis currently in theaters.The Curseseason 1 finale airs on Sunday at 10 p.m. on Showtime.
