Erin Andrewswill have a fun story to tell her son one day.
“He was very sweet. We had gifted him, not this year, but last year when we had the Super Bowl on National Tight Ends Day, I did a sit-down interview with him, so I gave him a hat,” Andrews tells PEOPLE.
“He has such great style, and I gave him a hat for National Tight Ends Day. It is his holiday, and it had an Arizona vibe to it, which is where the Super Bowl was last year. And I said, ‘This guy has an Arizona vibe. It would look good coming off the plane in Arizona.’ "
When the team made it all the way, Andrews saw Kelce step off the plane, with the hat on. “He is just a thoughtful, amazing, cool person that he actually wore it off the plane,” she says. “We, at Fox, thought that was so neat and loved him for it.”
