Asked if Marlowe has been a part of any wedding planning, Amurri says that there’s only one thing her three kids — Marlowe and sons Major, 6, and Mateo, 2, who she shares with exKyle Martino— requested.
“We’ve asked all three kids if there is anything that’s really important to them, and so far all they’ve really come up with is dancing a dance together,” she says. “All five of us at the reception. I think it’ll be super fun.”
Marlowe, however, did have strong opinions when it came to what her mom would be wearing on the big day. “She was very opinionated about my dress!” Amurri reveals. “When I narrowed it down to two dresses, she firmly preferred one over the other, and I picked the one she chose!”
The photo shoot— which Amurri says was Marlowe’s first — shows the mother-daughter duo posing together in wedding attire. Amurri wears a princess-style wedding gown while her daughter stands in front of her in a purple dress.
“We had a blast!” the proud mom says of the shoot forSophisticated Weddings.

In February, Amurrigot to relive her engagement when her fiancé reenacted their Parisian engagementfor her three kids, sharing the sweet moment on Instagram.
“Our Engagement For The Kids 😭❤️🔥🎉 For weeks leading up to our trip to Paris, the two big kids kept on asking me if I thought Ian would propose in Paris,” Amurri — who is also a blogger and the creator of the Happily Eva After collection — explained in the caption.
“Marlowe, especially, has been asking us to get married for over a year, and she told me, ‘I think it’s gonna happen in Paris, mom!!! You have to call me if he gives you the ring!!!’ 🥹,” she recalled.
Amurri said that after Hock popped the question, they called the kids who were “SO excited” about the news.
“They wanted to know all the details. We told time we’d redo it for them when they came home,” she wrote.
