Eva Mendesis admitting that motherhood has made her a little bit softer.
On Wednesday, the actress, 49, posted a Reel toher Instagramin celebration of Valentine’s Day where she shared how her thoughts on the holiday have changed since becoming a mom. Mendes shares her two daughters — Esmeralda Amada, 9, and Amada Lee, 7 — with partnerRyan Gosling.
“I don’t like love Valentine’s Day. I used to be a rebel and be like, ‘No, Valentine’s Day is bull,' " she said in the video. “But now I like it. I’m a mom now and I’m all like soft and stuff.”
“Yup, I’m a softie now that I’m a Mami of two little girls! ♥️lotsa love out there today and always ♥️,” she captioned the candid clip.

In an interview withVarietyearlier this month, theBarbieactor, 43, opened up about the four years he took off of acting, in which he decided to focus on fatherhood.
“Just to be with my family. I didn’t want to miss anything,” Gosling said of his break. “My priorities changed, and I wanted to be with my kids.”
“It’s going super fast. I hear the clock ticking. I don’t know how much time I’m going to get and I don’t want to spend it in the wrong place. I know I’m not spending it in the wrong place if I’m with family.”
