Here’s looking at another season of Netflix’sYou.
Whilethe wild season 3 finalesaw Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) jet off to Paris to follow his new obsession,Marienne Bellamy (Tati Gabrielle), it appears that he will wind up in London before too long.
Additionally, the streamer shared a handful of new stars joining the cast this season, including Tilly Keeper (Lady Phoebe), Amy Leigh Hickman (Nadia), and Ed Speleers (Rhys).

In a teaser trailer for the new season, fans see Joe take on a new identity as professor Jonathan Moore as he teases that his time “across the pond” has helped him “bury the past.”
In an interview withEntertainment Tonight, Badgley teased that this season will look and feel a little bit different from past seasons. “The tone is similar but it’s shifting in that there is a different format. We’re using a different format,” he said. “It’s almost like we’re shifting the genre slightly. And I think it works.”
Another way season 4 will differ from previous ones is thatBadgley won’t have any sex scenes.
“I asked Sera Gamble, [the] creator, ‘Can I just do no more intimacy scenes?’ This was actually a decision I had made before I took the show,” the actor said during a Feb. 9, 2023 episode of Stitcher Studios’Podcrushedpodcast. “I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned it publicly, but one of the main things is,Do I want to put myself back on a career path where I’m always [the] romantic lead?”
He added, “It got to a point where [I thought], ‘I don’t want to do that,’ so I said to Sera, like, ‘My desire would be zero [intimate scenes], to go from 100 to zero.’ "

Despite ending season 3 in the heart of Paris, Netflix revealed that season 4 was actually filmed in London. “Joe’s back for a bloody good time. If his book choice tells us anything… our boy might not be in Paris anymore,“the streamer wrote on Instagram. Certainly a far cry fromthe small town of Madre Linda last season.

Showrunner Sera Gamble teased thatBadgley would be sitting in the director’s chairthis season as she posted a photo of him on set in August. “We hired a new director this season but he seems to know the show really, really well,” she captioned the photo.
Is there a trailer forYouseason 4?
Netflix gave a closer look at Joe and thenew cast members joining the showin a teaser trailer released in September 2022. In January 2023,Netflix unveiled the full trailerfor the new season, which shows Joe getting his own stalker.
On Feb. 15, 2023,Netflix released a trailerfor part 2 of season 4. In the clip, Joe meets the Eat the Rich killer, who admits, “I want a friend.”
Later, Joe seems to deny his killer instincts, saying, “You don’t get to tell me who I am. I am not some cold-blooded psycho.” However, the clip hints at more murder to come in the season, including flashes of someone chained to a chair and a shovel being dug into soil.

After previously announcing the release dates in September 2022, Netflix announced that they had moved up the release dates in November 2022. Part 1 dropped on Feb. 9, 2023, and part 2 will drop on March 9, 2023.

Netflix hasn’t confirmed whether or notYouwill return for a fifth season, but the fact that they’re not marketing season 4 as the final season is certainly a good indication that more is to come.
