Get ready to jump back into the Spider-Verse.
TitledSpider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the project was announced in November 2019, with animation work beginning in June 2020.
Shameik Moore and Hailee Steinfeld are set toreprise their respective rolesas Miles Morales andGwen Stacy, but the film will also introduce some new faces, including Daniel Kaluuya, whopreviously appeared in Marvel’sBlack Panther.

Like the first film, the movie will have three directors. This time around, Justin K. Thompson, Joaquim Dos Santos and Kemp Powers will be taking the reins as co-directors.
Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Christina Steinberg are also producing the project.

On Dec. 13, 2022, Sony Pictures Entertainment releasedthe official trailer forSpider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which shows Miles (Moore) and his mother Rio (Luna Lauren Velez) as she shares her worries about Miles becoming more independent as he grows through adolescence — all the while moments from the character’s adventures inInto the Spider-Verseplay on.
In April 2023, a second trailer was unveiled, which shows Miles and Gwen meeting various Spider-People.
When is the release date forSpider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse?
In April 2022, Sony Pictures announced that it is pushing back the theatrical release ofSpider-Man: Across the Spider-Versefrom Oct. 7, 2022, to June 2, 2023. Ahead of the theatrical release, the film held its world premiere at Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles on May 30.
