The biggest night in Hollywood is upon us!
On Jan. 23,the full list of Oscar nominationswas unveiled, revealing which star-studded movies and actors would be up for awards during the upcoming ceremony.
The 96th annual Academy Awards will be held this March, featuring some of the biggest and brightest stars in the entertainment industry. (The show will also feature a familiar face as the host.)
From the biggest nominations to when the ceremony will be held, here’s everything to know about the 2024 Oscars.
Who is nominated for the 2024 Oscars?

The 2024 Oscar nominations included some award-season favorites along withsome shocking snubs and surprises. For the Best Picture category, the nominees includeAmerican Fiction,Anatomy of a Fall,Barbie,The Holdovers,Killers of the Flower Moon,Maestro,Oppenheimer,Past Lives,Poor ThingsandThe Zone of Interest.
Meanwhile, the Best Actor category includes Bradley Cooper forMaestro, Colman Domingo forRustin, Paul Giamatti forThe Holdovers, Cillian Murphy forOppenheimerand Jeffrey Wright forAmerican Fiction.
Rounding things out, the Best Actress category includes Annette Bening forNyad, Lily Gladstone forKillers of the Flower Moon, Sandra Hüller forAnatomy of a Fall, Carey Mulligan forMaestroand Emma Stone forPoor Things.

Ahead of the ceremony, the Academy announced which stars will be taking the stage. Representing the Barbie movie, Ryan Gosling and Mark Ronson will perform “I’m Just Ken,” while Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell will perform “What Was I Made For?”
Additionally, Jon Batiste will sing “It Never Went Away” from his Netflix documentaryAmerican Symphony,Becky G will perform “The Fire Inside” fromFlamin’ Hotand Scott George and the Osage Singers will perform “Wahzhazhe (A Song For My People)” fromKillers of the Flower Moon.

The Academy has been rolling out the list of presenters ahead of the ceremony in March. The first round of presenters included Mahershala Ali, Nicolas Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Fraser, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong’o, Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ke Huy Quan, Sam Rockwell, Michelle Yeoh and Zendaya.
Shortly after, the Academy announced even more stars slated to take the stage, including Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Dwayne Johnson, Michael Keaton, Regina King, Jennifer Lawrence, Kate McKinnon, Rita Moreno, John Mulaney, Catherine O’Hara, Octavia Spencer and Ramy Youssef.
Additionally, it was announced that five past winners will introduce the current nominees in all four acting categories. The format was hugely popular among viewers and was last done at the Oscars ceremony held 15 years ago.
