Jennie GarthandDave Abrams‘ may have had a wedding night menu that highlighted Southern fare (Cheesy grits! Fried chicken! Polenta corn bread!), but for their rehearsal dinner, they went south of the border.
“We wanted a rehearsal dinner that was super fun and colorful,” actress Garth tells PEOPLE exclusively. “And our favorite is Mexican food…so FIESTA!”
To cap off the night, guests dined on vanilla cake decorated with a bright fresh roses and, perched at the very top, Dawn of the Dead celebratory bride and groom figurines. Garth says, “We had a great time!”
