And though several were worthy of the title, an English Bulldog named Zsa Zsa slobbered her way to the winner’s circle.Zsa Zsa’s wide stance, teeth-exposing underbite and tongue that hangs almost to the ground helped her beat 13 other pups and win $1,500, a supersized trophy and a trip to New York for media appearances....

Eileen Ash, an English cricket legend, has died. She was 110. On Saturday, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced her death in asocial media statement. “The thoughts of everyone at the ECB are with the family and loved ones of Eileen Ash, who has died aged 110,” the organization wrote alongside a photograph of the sports star. A cause of death has not been revealed. Ash, a right-arm seamer, previously made her Test debut against Australia in 1937,The Independentreported....

The Luton soccer club announced this morning that the player, Tom Lockyer, was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday. The frightening moment happened midway through Luton’s match against Bournemouth last weekend. Video from the game’s broadcast shows Lockyer suddenly collapsed to his knees and then eventually falling face-first to the pitch around the 60th minute of the game, causing players from both teams to rush to his aid....
